Ya'll it's Saturday! This was a longgggggggg week and I'm so glad it's over and tomorrow is Mother's Day so I'm spending the whole day with my littles! In the meantime I thought I would share with you my favorite bags for summer 2017!

I must also confess I purchased all 4 of these and love every one of them! All of these work for spring too and I promise you will love any of these bags! Make sure you also stay tuned because I plan on featuring each on of these bags in a full outfit post for each one separately so you can see just how I styled each one!

Why I Cancelled Stitch Fix

Happy hump day! Thank god the week is halfway over! Tomorrow is the Anthropologie fashion show down at Lenox Mall and I'm stoked!  Then I work from home all next week since my little people have spring break, YAY! Let's hope the remainder of this week goes by fast so I can bust outta here!

This post won't have any pretty pictures and it's kind of a vent.  Well Not a vent just facts really so feel free to comment with your Stitch Fix thoughts.  I know most of you love your stitch fix subscriptions and that's cool. I gave it a shot for about 6 months and finally I have decided cancel my Stitch Fix subscription....for good!

Being a fashion/style blogger my main goal is to "share" my style with my readers in hopes of giving them tips and inspiration.  I know myself as a reader of many other style & beauty blogs.......I look to bloggers for style inspiration or products referrals.  If they have a piece that I love or a product they swear by most likely I want to purchase the same item.

Holiday Style ft. Target & Kate Spade

holiday dress

Kate Spade Glitter Initial clutch

Green Dress // OTK Boots // Versace Sunglasses // Kate Spade Evening Belles Initial Clutch (Sold Out) - SIMILAR HERE // Oversized Cardigan // Rhinestone Necklace (Old) - SIMILAR HERE

The good thing about living in the South is that you are free to rock a cute holiday dress without freezing your butt off!  When we lived up near NYC I dreaded the holidays because I am always cold anyway so I really hated freezing in dresses. Now I love the fact that I can wear just about anything on holidays.  Although, this year has been exceptionally warm ...even for Georgia.  Christmas Eve and Christmas Day are supposed to have temps near 70! INSANE!

I was planning to wear this dress with a cute leather jacket on top but Im sure I wont need a jacket if the forecast is correct.  I snagged this adorable lace dress from Target and it was the perfect find.  I'm super short ....5'1" to be exact so it's really hard to find short dresses that hit above the knee.  This one is a size XS and leaves a good few inches above the knee which I love!  I paired it with my Steve Madden OTKs....which are a dupe of these designer Stuart Weitzman ones and just as cute!

My clutch is from Kate Spade and was originally around $400 but I got it during one of the 70% sales so you do the math! Because it's so sparkly it's the perfect little bag to take to holiday parties or even on a date night! One of my favorite parts about this outfit is my necklace.....super sparkly and it can dress up any outfit but also works for casual looks too.  The only thing is the stones have a tendency to flip around easily/  I actually found an almost identical one at J.Crew in store not online and I tried it on and it actually lays flat without moving around so I may have to head back to J.Crew to snag that one!

Cold Shoulder Top & OTKs

Cat's Eye sunglass versace

Happy Monday ladies...I'm back in my office after 4 days off....and feeling a little blah! After all who wants to go back to work after having nearly a week off right?  At least I have 5 days off for Thanksgiving! Hooray!

Michael Kors Gray Tote

Aren't these wooden earrings fantastic?!?!?  I got them at the Kioskos de Luquillo in Puerto Rico (so I couldn't link them)....which is a little strip of shops and small food vendors near Luquillo Beach.  There is no website for them but if you ever travel to the island it's definitely a must visit for yummy fried foods and handmade gifts!

Over The Knee Boots // Cold-Shoulder Top // White Jeans // Sunglasses // Michael Kors Tote Bag

I posted this look on IG a few weeks ago and yesterday! My cold-should top is available HERE and is from Target and they have several other colors too! The jeans are KanCan from Buckle which is one of my favorite brands because they don't lose their shape as you wear them and you can't beat the price! They are very stretchy but not quite a jegging so I usually size down!  My bag is from Michael Kors and was a gift from the hubby a few years ago but you can still get the same bag online HERE!

Hope you ladies are all enjoying the start of your week...........and hopefully Thanksgiving gets here fast because I need some more time off!

Lace Up Flats for Any Budget

Flats have always been one of my favorite go-to shoes because sometimes you really just don't want to wear heels but you are really not going for full on "sneaker casual". They are perfect because they are just the right amount of sophisticated yet casual and can be worn on date nights, shopping trips, to work, while traveling......really just about anywhere!

Right now one of the biggest trends in flats are lace-up pointed toe flats and in a perfect world we would probably all be wearing the Valentino Rockstuds or the Aquazzura Belgravias......but most of us are not spending $900 on 1 pair of shoes.  We can still dream though, right?

Valentino - Rockstud // Aquazzura - Belgravia // Aquazzura - Christie
Michael Kors - Kallie // Salvatore Ferragamo - Claire // Manolo Blahnik - Aneska

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Halogen is probably the top contender right now in this style of flat that is a more mid-range price.   They are not super expensive but they are also not cheap but their signature lace-up flats will run you close to $90 a pop!  I won't lie,  I do own 2 pairs of the Halogen ones but Steve Madden also has a few styles coming in slightly less at around $80 each......but if $80 for a pair of shoes is still too much their are tons of other affordable options out there!

Steven Madden - Sunshine // Vince Camuto - Emmari // Halogen - Owen
Sole Society - Georgina // BP - Katrina // Lucky Brand - Aviee

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Not only do I have the two Halogen pairs from Nordstrom, but I also have a few pairs from H&MASOS, Revolve, Target .....even Charlotte Russe & Forever 21 also have several gorgeous options that won't break the bank!

Target - Kady // H&M - Suede Ballet Flats // H&M - Pointed Flats
ASOS - New Look Pointed Pump // Charlotte Russe - Lace Up Pointed Toe Flat

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The H&M Pointed Flats with Lacing that I'm wearing above are ON SALE NOW - $34.99 $19.99

All in all this is a style that won't be going anywhere anytime soon! Are you guys totally as in love as I am with lace-up flats? Would you take the splurge or steal?????
